1st Birthday - Minion Invasion

Since Q LOVES Despicable Me, we had a Minion themed birthday at Mike and Sue's house. They were so sweet to let us have it there. Our apartment literally is shoe box and can hold NO ONE.

When Q woke up from his nap and came down stairs to see all the decorations he got super excited and went straight for the balloons.

We just had a small party but it was still fun. We had our friends the Bastians, and the Twitchells. Then Grandma and Grandpa Dolder and Uncle Andrew and Grandma Corbetter. We skyped with Grandpa Corbett, Uncle Donald, Aunt Emma, Aunt Haylie, Aunt Chelsea, and Aunt Brianna. They were so sad they couldn't come. 

 When we sang Happy Birthday to Q he was in shock. We video taped it, it was pretty funny. Maddie helped blow out the candle since Q was just looking around unsure what was going on.

Since he is allergic to Milk, I had a piece of cake that I didn't ice with frosting so he could have some cake. He tried it, but didn't seem to like it. I am just grateful he didn't throw up.

After cake we tried Chocolate Soy Ice Cream. You didn't like that either. Again we video tapped Q's reaction.  But the picture above is the reaction. We may have been a little mean and kept giving it to him because he made the funniest faces! We think he didn't like how cold it was.

Bath Time.

After bath we started opening presents. Maddie and Wilson helped a lot. Wilson thought most of the presents were his. He wanted to play with all of them and was sad when he couldn't take them home. You got spoiled with all the fun presents and clothes!

 

He had so much fun at his birthday, playing with his toys and friends!  Thank you everyone that came and sent messages on is birthday and throughout the week. We are so blessed to have so many friends and family members.
