December So Far

Eric is done with his first Quarter of his Master's program!! Only 5 more quarters to go :) It has been difficult to figure out a new routine. But I think we figured it out and so going forward it should be easier. Fingers crossed! We love living behind U Village and being downtown Seattle. Except if you want to go anywhere after a football game. Since Eric has been done with school since the 10th he gets almost an entire month off. Its been awesome.

We have started giving Q new foods- since he needs to take more calories but cant drink whole milk. Dang milk allergy. We took him to an Occupational Therapist that gave us some ideas to keep him from throwing up his food, because thats what he usually does. So hopefully we will be able to get calories on this kid! He is still in the 3 percentile for his age. Annabelle, is only 4 months and weighs 3 pounds less then Q who is 13 months old. I love how little he is though. :)

Gave him some bacon, I think he liked it! But who doesn't like bacon?! Oh thats right- I dont. :P
Our ward Christmas party was AWESOME! They decorated everything like we were in Jerusalem and all the families brought blankets to sit on to watch the program. Everyone did a great job.

After the Christmas Party we went down Candy Cane Lane. Its about 20 houses that decorate for Christmas. This house was Santa's Toy Shop. In the window is a rocking horse and other toys. I would love to live in a neighborhood that does this!

Becky, a cute gal in our complex put together a cookie exchange. I didn't want to make cookies so I dipped Pretzels in Chocolate, Carmel and White Chocolate. I came in 2nd place for the best decorated cookies!

She had the cutest boxes and ribbons to put the cookies in.

This is only 1 table of cookies. I sampled most of them, they all tasted great!

She even had appetizers for us!
Q and Eric watching Dog youtube videos. He was having a cranky afternoon. When we buy a house we might be getting a dog too.
We took Q to Nordstrom to try on new shoes, and they gave him this blue balloon. He would not let it go. He was walking all over the mall playing with it. The other day when we finally had to pop it because it was no longer floating and I didn't want him to pop it, he cried. He first had a look of astonishment that the balloon was gone. Then he cried.

If you know anything about me, it is I could walk the mall EVERY day! So on a different day to the mall, he found a girl friend. They were hugging and walking around playing together. She was 3 months older then him. Nice to see he isnt that much smaller then her.
We went to my parents Christmas Party and in the overflow area all the kids were playing Freeze Tag. He just stood there watching them all run around. They kept tagging him. I think they thought he was frozen so they were trying to unfreeze him.
These two little boys kept giving him a hug, so then they decided to give him a hug at the same time He is in the middle of them.
