So I am sitting here Husbandless. He is currently stuck in Minneapolis. Stupid Delta and their broken planes. :( Since Eric graduates in April he has been flying to interviews pretty much across the country. Currently he is coming from Madison, Wisconsin. No leads yet on where we will end up.

We are both still in school and both still working. Which makes it hard to see each other. I think i see him as i am falling into bed after a long day.

Eric has started asking me what i am making him for dinner. After i have finished laughing, my common answers are : Cereal, Taco Bell, McDonalds, Frozen Pizza, Cereal. I do know how to cook and i like to cook, the problem is, i dont have TIME to cook. Eric says he keeps asking on the hope that one day i will have actually made dinner like i used to. Poor Eric.

On a positive note, and knock on wood, it hasn't snowed yet! (please dont snow, please dont snow) I wish i could tell you how much i HATE snow. It goes Delta, Snow, then being alone on a Friday night.

We are both SUPER excited to go to Seattle for Thanksgiving! We are driving (yes 14 hours) to and from with Eric's best friend Marc and his girlfriend Melinda. It will be so fun! Especially cause i dont have to take turns driving. So Until Thanksgiving!

Love ya!

Today I am grateful for Rain. I think Heavenly Father knew that a lot of crap would happen today so he sent me rain, because without it, today would have been so much worse. But any time today i got down i just said to myself... its raining! And it made my happy. Just think if it wasn't raining, and i got bad news and looked outside and it was 80 degrees! I would have been ticked. I wont go into why today sucked and continues to suck, all you need to know is Rain is getting me through it. I hope it rains tomorrow.

This last week Eric and I started school again! Eric is in his Senior year at BYU. His major is in Economics! He is so excited to graduate. I am slowly but surely working on my Psychology degree at Utah Valley University. Since it is Eric’s last year of school I thought i would post about him! The picture is his Kindergarten picture! I should have taken his Last First Day of school picture... maybe I still will. :)

His Favorite Movie: Zoolander
His Favorite Restaurant: Olive Garden
His Favorite Website: ESPN
His Favorite Book: Book of Mormon
His Favorite Past Time: Golfing

Eric is my best friend. We have so much fun together! There is rarely a dull moment, we could just talk for hours and hours! I cant wait to get home and spend time with him. I LOVE LOVE LOVE him.
I have to admit that for the last couple day I have been going to blogs and trying to get ideas of what my next project can be. And you know what i have decided? I should give up. How these women can create these amazing purses, and blankets, and baby outfits, and bibs and birthday party favors and birthday cakes is beyond me! They have more talent in their pinky toe than I do in my whole body! And you know what, I was perfectly content with my lack of craftiness until my cute friend Brit got me hooked on it! This is all her fault! Yes that's right Brit, if you are reading this, I blame you! I was happy living my life thinking that i would just buy everything i ever wanted. Now, i feel like i need to make them! I need to make cute baby bibs for my friends, and blankets and onesies, and flowers headbands and baby dresses, and redo my towels, and make a cute new shirt for myself! The list goes on and on!!

Maybe i just dont have faith that i actually could be good at this. Maybe i am secretly an amazing homemaker! But you know what is holding me back?? Its pretty big.... I DONT HAVE A SEWING MACHINE! Lame i know, but when you are thinking of all the great projects to make, they usually all require a sewing machine. The other thing... is money. I could be coming from left field here, but i am pretty sure in order to make all these projects you need fabric. And last time i went to the fabric store i was $80 poorer and i still had to MAKE the project! Could i leave Nordstroms and buy whatever i was trying to make with that $80? Maybe.

But there is a sense of pride showing off something you made, or thinking to yourself "I am amazing! I made this! " I want that feeling... i may have become addicted to it.

O what to do, what to do do dooooo.

My friend Brit is super crafty and yesterday she invited me over to make home made baby towels. I was a little hesitant because that sounded like a lot of work, and I did not inherit my mom's craft ability. Brit assured me it would be super simple and easy and best of all CHEAP! So after work, i went and bought my materials and went to brits. Here is my sure cute baby towel.

I picked yellow, because it was gender neutral. Try to imagine this on a cute little 3 year old.. Eric was trying to pose :)

We even cut out the duck and sewed it on. All in all, Brit was right, it was fun, easy and only cost me 7 bucks!! We have big plans for the next ones we make!

Today is mine and Erics 1 year anniversary! I cant believe its been a year already. I feel like it should only be February not May! I cant say enough how much I Love Eric and how much fun we have together! We are always laughing and joking around. Its been the happiest year of my life. If the first year is supposed to be your hardest then I cant wait to see what the rest are like. This was like a walk in the park :)

For our 1 year anniversary we went to my favorite restraunt. Its called Tepanyaki- its like Benihana's (were they cook the food in front of you) Its fantastic. Eric had never been to this place, but he came home Saturday and said get ready we have reservations, so I hurried and got dressed and when we pulled into the restaurant I was SO excited. He also walked in with some beautiful flowers.

We then had to go home because I had to teach the Relief Society Lesson today (Have i mentioned our church is at 8:30 am?) So we rented a movie and i got ready for my lesson. We both had presents to give to each other but Eric made us wait till today, since our anniversary is actually today.

Finally after church we got to open our presents!! I got eric a Portable Laptop Desk from Brookstone, it has a pillow under it, so when you are laying on the couch you dont have to have your computer on your lap. You can place it on this pillow desk. he LOVED it!

For my presents Eric got my these Yellow shoes at Nordstroms that i have been wanting for about a month now!
So far we have both had a great day and we cant wait to start our next year together!
So once a month my friend Brit has a girls night activity. So this last month i went, and it was on baby gifts. We learned how to make a diaper clutch, how to personalize a onsie, and how to make baby head bands. It was so much fun and the girls that go are amazing! Here are my 3 headbands that i made. (almost sad that i dont have a baby to put them on... almost)

So i have 2 bathrooms in my apartment and i have been struggling with ideas on what to do. But then i found some cute surfer ideas - So these are the canvas' i made for my bathroom through my work. They are each 8x8, I Love them!
So once i did that, I realized i didn't really like my bathroom, so i had to redo it. So now this is what the Master Bathroom looks like.
I also wanted something to go above our headboard, so i borrowed this great picture of downtown Seattle and made that a canvas too! (you will soon realize i LOVE canvas)
Each of these canvas' is 8x20 in. It was a lot of fun to see if this would actually work, and i love it! I have a few more home decor projects in the works, so when i am finished i will be sure to post them.
First and foremost i have to say WE HAVE INTERNET! After 2 weeks or so without internet, we finally have it back and working. So with that I can now post everything that we did in April.
We started off April in St. George with Erics family, which is always fun, and of course my Birthday (April 1st, yes i know its April Fools Day)
So for my birthday Eric got me my own set of golf clubs!! My parents got me a new phone, so now i have a simply everything phone. And Erics parents got me a ring and Vera Wang Princess Perfume! I then got to go out with Eric's Grandpa's new wife VJ who used to be a Golf Pro, and learn how to golf. Eric and his parents said i was really good, they kept laughing cause i actually kept hitting the ball. Apparently beginners cant hit the ball.

After that it was Erics Birthday!

I made the cake the night before, it was HUGE! i couldn't even put my glass dome on top. Eric for his birthday got :
New Scriptures, a phone, a golf pass, and a new scrubby thing for the sink. :)

We then had our friends over to celebrate the last day of classes and Erics birthday. It was so much fun!!
Ok it has been crazy busy for me and Eric with school and work. This semester I am working full time and taking night class. Eric is spending more and more time with his internship as well and still managing to get a 4.0 Yay!! Since I last posted anything, we got a table, and Eric and my brother finally got to meet! Donald came home from his mission in Panama in February so we got to go home and spend family time together! I loved it!

I dont have a picture of all of us with Donald- so this one will have to do.
We also had Erics dad down to visit and so we spent one weekend up in Bountiful, its always fun when family comes into town!
So as many of you know i work for an online scrapbook company... well i needed an idea of what to put above our headboard. I borrowed a friends beautiful picture of Seattle and this is what i got! What i did was took 4 8x20 Canvas' and stretched the picture around the them. Anyways I LOVE it and when I got them at work everyone loved it. There will be more to come because i have found my new love for Digital Scrapbooking.

So I am a visual person, so as I lose weight instead of pictures of me I am going to post pictures of how much weight I lost. Eventually when i think i look cute enough or that i think the weight loss is big enough that someone will notice i will take a picture of that, but for now pictures of the weight is good enough. SO thus far in all about a week i have lost 20 sticks of butter... equals to 5 pounds. Surprising!

Today me and Eric made Frittatas and Caesar Salad. Since we have never made these before it was an adventure.

This year me and Eric spent the holidays with both our families! We are fortunate enough to only live about 45 minutes away. We spent most of the 2 weeks with my family but saw his family on Christmas Eve, the day after Christmas for his dad's birthday and for a few days before New Years.

Over break I learned that Eric is a XBox junkie at heart, my younger brother Andrew and Eric played Call of Duty every day for hours on end. I was totally fine with that, cause that meant the girls got to go shopping!

We had a tons of fun going to Christmas Eve parties, playing in Seattle, Playing Games except for Funglish, it sadly brought out the worst in Eric.

For New Years we spent the day with Eric's family getting ready for their New Years Party, where we had more crab legs than we knew what to do with.
