My mom has decided that we are going to start a new family tradition, every year all the girls will get together and do something fun! This year we went to Scottsdale, AZ. It was very hot, but luckily it was a dry heat, unlike here in Madison, that is a HUMID heat and it sucks.

We all flew out on Wednesday to meet at the airport. My flight had to be the 2nd worst flight I have ever been on. (The first was when I had an emergency landing in Minnesota due the windshield on the plane cracked. It was 8 hours long!) This flight was only 4 hours, but due to turbulence the fasten seat belt light was on the entire time. Which meant- I couldn't go to the bathroom. For 2 hours I had to go SO bad, and the flight attendants were cruel, and just kept asking if we wanted water! Ahhh finally I was off the plane and with my Mom, Haylie and Emma, my future sister-in-law.

Daily routine was laying by the pool- reading books, magazines and floating in the water. Then we would head to the Mall. On one of our shopping trips I got an entire new maternity wardrobe! I got a maternity swimsuit, (apparently my swimsuits werent cutting it), skirts, jeans, shirts, bras. I had been so against getting any pregnancy clothes, because I wasn't excited about the belly band- I already get hot, without adding another piece of fabric on my stomach. It is still hot, but not having a stomach ache by the end of the day because my pants were to tight is a great feeling.

I loved having Emma on the trip, because since Eric and I are no longer in Utah we dont get to see her and Donald very much, and I wanted to get to know her more. Donald and Emma get married on August 4th in Dallas and there will be no time to spend time with her then. Emma is one of the cutest people, and so easy to get along with! I am super excited to have apart of our family and I think Donald couldn't have picked a better wife!
I am super excited for next years trip! I dont know where we will go, but I am counting down already.

This weekend has been so much fun! It has been action packed since I leave on Wednesday for a girls trip with my mom, sister, and future sister in law! We are heading to Scotsdale, AZ and I cant wait to lay by the pool and work on my tan! So because I am heading for girl time, I wanted to know what we were having so I could do some major shopping! Unfortunately, our insurance doesn't let you do it early at all, so after some convincing Eric said we could find a place that would tell us the gender early. So we found this great little place in Madison, and went Saturday morning. It was the cutest place, they had this huge room with 2 couches and a play table, so you could have over 20 people in the room during your ultrasound! Sadly, here in Madison it is just Eric and I, but the technician was fabulous and it was kind of nice to have it just be us.

We had a 30 minute appointment, where we were able to do 3D and 4D and could take home the DVD of the entire ultrasound, which totally sold me. Some highlights were, first that we found out we were having a BOY! The other highlight was he got the hickups during the ultrasound, and we could tell that he was tired, because he kept rubbing his eyes. So cute! After that we went to Target to do some searching, and realized boys dont have quite the variety of cute clothes as girls. Then we decided to go to the Parade of Homes. Thats how we spent the majority of Saturday.

Sunday was Fathers Day, and I had purchased some pretty great presents for Eric. I got him a new Wedge, a new pair of Golf Pants, and a gift certificate to go gofling at Chambers Bay in Seattle when we went home in August. The US Open in 2015 will be held at Chambers Bay, so it is supposed to be a super nice course. We then told our families that we had found out early what we were having and shared our excitement with them. After we headed for a wonderful night of S'mores and Banana Boats at our friends the McGuires.  We got some great baby items from them and I cant wait to set them up so I can feel more ready for a baby!
