So I have a lot to update! This last week we moved from Madison, WI to Seattle, WA! Since we have known we are moving for 8 months I have felt like the moving day would never come! In July I started packing finally, and since our apartment is TINY we had a lot of extra things we needed to do some downsizing. We filled up the back of a van with all of stuff for our first trip. Then still had a few more trips. After seeing our apartment again, I still think I have to get rid of more things. :(

Q LOVED our door sign. He always touched it when we came home.

This is how we fly- laying on the floor watching Despicable Me

So to move 30 hours away, we decided we didn't want to drive with the kid. So we were super blessed to have our parents watch him for us. So I flew him to Seattle on Monday and then I flew back on Wednesday so I could have Thursday and Friday of packing without him. We packed up our U-Boxes on Saturday and are super grateful for our friends that helped!

Cute kids helping pack- they made the pod their fort, and climbed in and out of the couches, on the love sac and everything
Hiding behind the Love Sac

After our pods were packed we left and drove to Souix Falls, South Dakota. On Sunday we stopped at Mt. Rushmore for lunch, it was really cool. There were like a MILLION motorcyclists due to Sturgis going on like an hour away. It was crazy! No nudest.
My Car hit 150,000 miles while we were driving. It was hard to take the picture while Eric was driving

We stopped in Bozeman that night, and lucky us- Eric was guest of the night! Haha guess that's what happens when you travel a lot for work- you rack up a ton of points.
Monday we wanted to get home by dinner! We got in at 5. We were super excited to be back! Still doesn't feel like we live here, I still feel like I am visiting. Maybe when I get our stuff in the apartment I will feel differently.

I did on my drive over make a memory video of our past 2 years in Madison. Sadly, its not done yet. :) I am ALMOST done, but with everything going on I haven't had a chance to put the final touches on it. I'm not promising that it will be great, but I did think it would be something fun to see.

Weight:  17 lbs 10 oz
Length: ?
Clothing Size: 6-9 Months
Sleep: Since we have been living at Grandma's and visiting Utah your sleeping pattern has sucked. You HATE pack n plays. You wake up every 2.5 hours screaming bloody murder. I am excited to finally have you back in a crib again, because you go back to only waking up once at night. Since we have been traveling a lot this month you have been such a champ at sleeping in the car! I haven't noticed you act super cranky or missing sleeping in your crib. Love that you will sleep wherever you can!
I Love...:  Chompers. You will chase him around the house and laugh when he barks at you. Also I think you have rediscovered your voice and how loud or high it can go. Because now you talk all the time and make funny noises and go really high and then really low with your voice. You also LOVE attention. If there are people around you are the entertainment. You will smile at them and make faces and noises and crawl around and make sure everyone has their attention on you. You especially love other little kids. We went to dinner and anytime a little kid walked by you stopped whatever you were doing, looked at them and flashed them a smile. It was pretty cute.  You also LOVE bath time and the pool. You cry when we take you out. Splashing is your favorite part of the day.
I Hate...: Pack n Plays. Lots of screaming and tossing and turning.
It was funny when...You got into Chompers bowl of water. You started splashing like you were in the tub. We videoed it, so we can show it to you later. You LOVE chewing on your tongue. I dont know why but you just munch on it all the time. I sometimes will stick my finger in your mouth just to make sure you dont have something in there you shouldn't. But it is always just your tongue.
Also we went to a water park and you were so tired that you fell asleep on mommys shoulder, but even half asleep you kept splashing. Also Grandma and Grandpa Corbett took you to church while we were moving and they said you were very loud and made funny gurgling noises to the other babies around you. They said you were irreverent. You also recently started hitting your stomach because you discovered that if you do, you make a different noise. You and your noises.
Firsts: Moved to a new state!! Stayed away from mom and dad for over a week while we packed the apartment in Wisconsin and drove to Washington. You also met your cousin Gracie and Amrik while we were in Utah.
Other facts: You only recently started eating and liking yogurt! You get super excited when we get the container out but the first bite still seems to confuse you. But once you decide you like it you chow it down. Grandma Corbett started adding Oatmeal to the yogurt, and even though you will still eat it, you dont eat as much and you look concerned with every bite. It's not your favorite but you are still eating solid food! Way to go!!
