On my list of things to do every day is to update the blog. As you can see it is pretty low on my priority list. As of January 1st my job became Full Time, so I have less hours to sit on my computer reading blogs, Facebooking for fun (part of my job is on facebook I have grown to hate checking it), and less pinteresting. sigh. But it does mean benefits, PTO and MORE MONEY! Which is always a nice thing to have when you are poor and back in school, taking out student loans. SO let me catch everyone up.
Christmas was FABULOUS! Since both families live in Seattle we get to see everyone at Christmas except Donald and Emma- they were in Dallas this year. Chelsea and Mikey couldn't get Christmas off either, but they came over. They were all greatly missed. Q didn't quite get the opening present thing... he liked to play with everyones bows on the presents and thats about it. He was totally spoiled rotten and loves all of his toys. To tell you the truth there are some that I haven't even opened from the package because how many toys can he have? And I think he will enjoy the toys more in a few months... maybe for Easter. :)
Update on Q- still in the 3% for basically everything. He weighs 18 pounds, and still fits into 9-12 month clothes. We bought him a pair of 12-18 month pants and they wont be fitting any time soon. His skin is under control as long as we put lotion and his medicine on him every night. If you miss a night he is super itchy the next day and he gets bumps all over. He is starting to eat solid food. We were pretty proud when we gave him a McDonald's chicken nugget and he ate half before throwing all of the pieces on the floor. I tried something the other day though that made him gag so he isn't completely ready for all foods yet.
New Years - After Christmas was over Chelsea and her Boyfriend Mikey came for their vacation. We went to the Seattle Aquarium, played silly games, and they lived through a shooting. While they were driving home from our house their car was shot at. No joke, their car window has a bullet hole. Even the Window repair man said so. Oh Seattle.
2014 - January so far has consisted of school and work. Eric started his 2nd quarter at UW and now is having interviews with companies for an internship this summer. He is on an Alaska Airlines consultant project right now, and is planning on going to Stanford for a Case Competition soon. I should find out when that is. I am working, working and more working. I am still trying to find the balance of when I will be getting my 40 hours in and when I should go to my moms or mother in laws for help.
