This last week Seattle has had a rare HOT summer week! We made sure we played in the water every day, because our little apartment was SO hot, we didn't want to be inside.

Our first trip to the water included walking to the Mall in our backyard and playing in the water pieces there.

Q loves playing in the water. Later that night, we went to Lake Washington with our friends, the Bastians and played in the lake. The lake was FREEZING but the kids didn't seem to mind!

The next day, after Neal got home from school we headed up to his parents house and picked up their jetski and headed to Lake Stevens. Again, the kids had a blast, water was freezing, but it got us all excited about living and the lake this summer.

Neal and Michelle bought this cute little blow up jet ski at Costco. I think we will need to go buy one as well, the kids had so much fun floating around on it.We all took turns riding the grown up jet ski, and have grand plans for this summer.
April 24th to April 27th I flew to California to work at my companies Convention. Recently in August, Heritage Makers was purchased by Youngevity. I have worked for Heritage Makers for almost 7 years! I started in Customer Service and worked my way up to the Leadership and Events Department. When we moved to Wisconsin, my boss let me still work for them part time! Super lucky!

When we were purchased in January, but boss, then the President of HM became the VP of Sales for Youngevity which meant she was in charge of all of their events as well. We had over 1400 consultants registered for this event, so she needed all the help she could get. Sue, my mother in law, said she could watch Q while I was gone. She is amazing, it was such a relief knowing that he was taken care of while I was gone, working 12 hour days.

It was SO MUCH WORK! I made sure I packed really comfortable shoes because we were running around the Marriott all day. I loved working with my old friends. They are amazing coworkers and it totally made me miss working in the office with them.

While we were there we helped put on a Runway Show, since Youngevity announced a new product line of clothing. There is a leather pencil skirt  that is coming out that I want SO bad!

One of the items Collette and I were in charge of, was recognition. For all the new consultants that hit certain ranks, they got a Plaque and a new Jacket. We had to organize all the Plaques, Jackets and Rings. We did have to re-organize those items multiple times and make sure no one was missing. It was a crazy, stressful and fun.

As a treat to ourselves, the employees that didn't have to go to the Formal Banquet - luckily we didn't have to- we went to DISNEYLAND! It was right across the street and was tempting us the entire time. We got there later then we wanted but it was a great way to end the event.

When I got home Q was excited to see me, which is awesome, and I think he even grew! He was chatting more then he was before and he had more hair! He had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa, Eric even said his dad didn't want to go golfing with Eric because Mike wanted to play with Q. Poor Eric.
