Andrew left on July 23, 2014 for his 2 year LDS Mission. He was called to serve in the Quezaltenago, Guatemala Mission. He went straight to the Guatemala MTC to learn Spanish. He was there for 6 weeks before he was sent to the area in Guatemala where he will serve.

Saying goodbye to him was a lot harder then I thought it would be. Maybe because 2 days later my parents moved to California. There were a lot of goodbyes that week.  We all miss Andrew a ton, we have family chats where at some point during it, someone says "where is Andrew?!" He was our tech guru and the Go-to Guy.

He has been doing awesome the last 6 weeks! He gets to email us every week, and that has been a day we look forward to. Last week because he was leaving the MTC we didn't get an email, and it sucked. Me and my mom checked our emails every hour!

I am so proud of him and cant wait to here about all of his adventures. I do miss him like crazy though.
We have had so many fun activities so far! Between work, and Q, and all the summer fun I dont have time to blog about each of them. So here is just a photo post with our activies!

UW treats their married students with kids FABULOUSLY!! They always have the best activities! This could also be because Michelle works for them, and is planning great stuff :) BUT it is still awesome that they do anything at all! July's big activity was water slides! So they got 2 huge slides, and set them up at the family park! Q and I went down twice. It was SO fun! He wouldn't go down alone, so I had to go with him... dang it.

Q and Wilson are seriously best friends. They play with each other so well, and are always looking out for each other. They were taking turns playing on the toy truck. They kept pushing and pulling each other around the basketball court.

We also finally got rid of the bottle! He only was having it for 1 of his naps and bedtime. But I got tired of it, and he was ready to grow up. So we no longer have any bottles in the house. He could care less. He doesn't seem to miss it!

We also got Q a big boy bed! He doesn't sleep in it yet, but he seems to like it. Whenever I take him to get in his crib for bedtime or nap, he also points to the other bed and wants to sleep in there. When he is ready to sleep in it, we will take the crib down and move the bed where the crib is. Away from the window. :)

Q had gotten more interested in scripture time! He loves to sit on Eric's lap while we read scripture stories. We use the church children gospel stories that has pictures. He loves it.
I love that his legs are crossed!
We also were able to escape our apartment (its been 80 degrees INSIDE!) and go to Martha's house and watch Mila while Martha and Brenton went to Oregon. Q had a blast! It made me super jealous not having a backyard that we could play in and having a house. One more year of school and hopefully we are in a house!

Apparently he had a car accident :)
Teaching himself to play XBox at Martha's house!
Learning to LOVE Toy Story!! He sat like this for half the movie.
We went to the Snohomish Downtown area and walked around with Sue and Brianna. There are the cutest stores down there! We went into one of the kids stores and they had this mask with a cap. Q thought they were awesome! He kept running the mirror and looking at himself and laughing. So we had to buy the mask. I guess I will be making a Captain America cap!
Eric has the craziest luck, like seriously, he entered a MBA competition at school and won a $100 gift card to the UW bookstore! So we were trying to figure out what to get. Q had his own idea of how Eric should spend his money. He went straight to the little kid department and grabbed this trio of sports balls, and then went and put on this hat. He ran around the entire store like this, hence the reason the photo is an action shot. I couldn't get him to stand still.
With this heat, we have been DYING! We dont have air conditioning in our townhome, so its HOT. We went to Grandma Dolder's house to play in the water and enjoy her air conditioning.  He has such cheesy smiles.

That night Eric and Grandpa Dolder came home from golf and Q wanted to show off his moves. He LOVES to golf, he walks around our place hitting his golf club and golf ball. If he cant find his golf club, he uses his hands, sticks or anything else that will hit the ball.

Daddy trying to show him the proper technique :)
He stole Grandpa Dolder's hat, and would only wear it backwards.

I'm sure we have many more days of swimming, golfing and playing with our friends!

It has been years since I have been able to see the Blue Angels! So this year, we went out of our way to make sure we went to Sea Fair. We had to take Q as well, because he LOVES airplanes! Anytime he hears a plane flying over head he stops what he is doing, looks up and points to it. He then continues to watch it until he cant see it anymore. So when there was going to be an entire show about planes, we knew he would have a blast!

We invited Eric's little sister Brianna, and my little brother Donald and sister in law Emma. We had so much fun!! We had gone out Friday night to find which park we wanted to go to, where to park and where we were going to sit for the show.

We decided on Mt. Baker Park, over by Coleman park. We got there around 11, even though the show didn't start till 1:45. It was a hot day so we planned on playing in the lake and making sure we got good seats. I think we did a great job!!

We tried to play in the water, but they kept seeing Lightening so we had to get out the lake. It was a bummer but better be safe then sorry.

We were there for the Hydroplane races, which was super fun to watch up close. The spray from those planes is taller then most boats! It was crazy! We also could watch some of the "warm up acts". They had a few acrobatic airplanes that did some crazy stunts! It was awesome to watch.

Finally the Blue Angels came out- we put on Q's headphones because we knew it could get loud. He didn't keep them on very long, but really like watching the planes!

Then one of the planes decided to do a flip right above our heads. He didn't have the headphones on. Uncle Donald was holding him and tried to use his hands to cover his ears, but at that point it was too late. Q was crying really hard. It was also past nap time, so he was just done. They did a flip one more time, but this time we had the head phones on, but he was still not having it.
After the Blue Angels, we didn't want to get stuck in traffic getting out, so we watched some more air shows and took Q for a walk. He quickly fell asleep.

We had SO much fun! And we cant wait till next year to do it again!!

This summer has been CRAZY! So so SO busy!! We had so much fun in Hawaii! We stayed from Sunday to Sunday, so fun but of course I could have stayed longer :)

Along with laying on the beach and soaking up the sun, we had a Kayaking/Snorkeling Adventure, Golf outing at the exclusive Plantation Course and hiking the volcano, eating the best Ice Cream, going to the most amazing Restaurants and just enjoying our time as a family!

I wasn't much of a photographer on some of our adventures because I didn't want to ruin my camera or my phone, but we totally had a blast!

Went Golfing at Kapalua Plantation Course. It had amazing views!

Hiked the Volcano

Had a family fitness Competition

Games
Kayaking and Snorkeling! I totally want to do do this every time
