You cant post about all the great things going on, without posting about the bad. I really try to post honestly about my life. This post is one of the bad ones. When we went to Maltby cafe for lunch I went to change Audrey's diaper and noticed that she had a fever and a rash over her entire body. After calling the doctors they told me to take her to Urgent Care right away. Since she was so young and had a rash they were very concerned for her. So Sue, Chelsea and Brianna took Quentin with them and I went to Urgent Care.

AUDREY
They coudn't find anything wrong with her. (No ear infection, no red throat) So they thought it was just a virus or something. That is until the doctor hear her cough. Now she has had this cough since she was a month old. Seriously. I have taken her to the doctor but they keep telling me it is just reflux or a cold draining down her throat. This doctor however immediately ordered a test for Whooping Cough (Both of my kids have been vaccinated). She is young enough that she hasn't recieved all the vaccines yet, so if someone had it and was around her, she could still get a mild case of it. The Mama Bear in me was furious! But that is another story. So she took the test and we went home praying the test came back negative.

Quentin
Quentin has had Ezcema since he was 3 months old. When he was that young it was so bad that it became infected with staph. We went to the hospital and given steriods and medicines galore to try and fight this. The staph infection went away, but the fight to control his eczema is an on going battle. It seems to always be worst at night, while he is relaxed. So every night around 12am he wakes up screaming and itching his entire body. The same night Audrey went to Urgent Care Q woke up screaming. I started treating him the same way I do every other night. Lotion, cuddling, then if that doesn't work he gets a bath/shower, (yes we take showers at 2 am) more lotion and cuddling. This night was different though. His skin was so red and swollen, and he kept screaming at me that he hurt. Usually he just says it itches. He kept crying asking for me to help me. It was breaking my heart and nothing was working. So I woke Eric up to tell him I was taking Q to the ER. (Urgent Care was closed) I prayed the entire way there. I was tired of being angry about his skin situation and I needed help. We got to the hospital and the doctor was amazing. He said he was have one of the worst flare ups the doctor had seen on a 3 year old. (Poor Q) He gave us some medicine and something to help Q not be in pain and we were on our way. LOVED OUR DOCTOR.

Needless to say the next day, after 2 trips to Urgent Cares and ER's and getting a total of 3 hours of sleep I was drained. I was praying all day, every time it ended in tears. I was trying to find out what I was supposed to be learning. I was heart broken that my children were in pain and I couldn't do anything about it. Serious tears people. After I picked up the Sugar Free Cookies for Q. (Gluten Free and Vegan) from a bakery in Redmond I was needing a food pick me up. I went to the Starbucks drive thru and ordered a Hot Chocolate. When I got to the pay window the barista told me that the lady in front of me had paid for my drink. I instantly burst into a new set of tears. I'm sure the barista didn't know what to do or say. I said thank you and drove away.

I knew at that moment that even though I was going through this trial with my kids that God was still mindful of me and trying to help me through this. God is good,  the church is true.  Since then I have made more of an effort to prayer continually throughout the day. Even though we still have trips to Urgent care (Audrey went on Monday with a high fever) and Q still has eczema, I know that God is behind the scenes prompting me and giving me strength to continue on.

This year we went christmas light searching. We found this awesome Seahawks house! They also had UW, Sonics, Mariners and Sounders lights.

We had lunch at Maltby Cafe, and he thought this little tent was awesome! Too bad each animal was like $300 bucks.
I decorated a tree this year, but refused to put presents under it. I didn't want a certain 3 year old to start opening them. So i put all our presents in bags in our closet. This was taken a little prematurely. There were a lot more presents to add.

More present pictures. The back of the car was completly full with presents.
 Sues Christmas tree with presents.
I drove to Redmond to get him Gluten Free Vegan Sugar Cookies. He loved decorating them! It took him a little awhile to eat them though.

Christmas Eve tradition of new Pajamas! It was a Seahawk theme christmas. Except for Batman.

He walked around all night saying "Hey! I'm Batman"

We left cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. Looks like Santa took them!
Q has been asking for Buzzlight year. He was SO excited that Santa brought him. Grandma and Grandpa Dolder got him a Batman Bat Cave, and Grandma and Grandpa Corbett got him a richoett. He got clothes and other toys but those are his favorite!
You know how some people cut their hair when they have kids? Well I will never do that, but i did need something easier to maintain. So I dyed my hair dark brown. I have been thinking about it for awhile and since Chelsea went to Hair School I went for it. I love it! And it makes getting ready easy. No more worrying about my hair grow out, or worrying that people can tell my hair is greasy.
For Christmas I got Eric a year of dates. Date 1 was going to the Sound of Music. It was AMAZING!! I loved everything about it and had to keep from singing along.
I had been thinking for awhile now that I wanted to teach piano but it never felt quite right. Maybe thats because I was pregnant, moving, having a baby, then having back surgery. 2015 has been crazy. But in December it started falling into place!

I contacted my old piano teacher,
and she said she was looking for a new piano teacher and offered me the position! I talked with Eric and we decided that it was a great opportunity, so we took it!

So I am looking for new students in the Bothell/Everett area! The youngest piano student at the studio is 4 years old, so you are never too young or to old to take a lesson. The other great aspect of this studio is there is the option for me to come to your home for your convenience or you can go to the studio for your lessons.

Along with teaching private lessons there are group lessons that I am starting as well.

This post is mostly a picture overload from Dec 1- Dec 20th. It has been a super crazy/busy/fun/stressful/great month. It started with check ups to the doctors. Both kids got shots. It was a really sad car ride home.
Q is so big! We had 2 nurses. One was getting all of Q's vitals and 1 was helping Audrey.
Matching gowns. Q thought it was great.
Audrey and Quentin went Christmas shopping with me and my mom. Audrey has some great taste at Kate Spade.
We went to the Lego Store and we left with the magazine. He sat in the stroller like this the rest of the time at the mall. This of course meant Audrey had to be carried.
My dad had to buy a tux, so at Nordstrom they had reusable stickers. Of course Q didn't want to put them back in the book, he thought the mirrors would be better.
We had our Christmas Tradition Pizza night at Pag. While we were there Bell Square was light up for the Seahawks.
Some of the christmas present damage.

 More Christmas damage.

Making dad and Grandpas Christmas present
We also decorated Grandma Dolders Christmas Tree. He HAD to wear the elf hat. He is a silly kid.
He was also organizing the tree.  All the same type ornaments had to be by each other.

At our ward christmas party, Q decided he was part of the Primary and wanted to go sing.
He didn't want to give up his spot on the stairs.
When Santa showed up Q ran away as soon as he walked in. But about 5 minutes later he was ready to go tell Santa what he wanted.
He is such a good big brother.
Audrey loves sitting up now and seeing what is going on around her. During dinner we put her in this chair and added some toys. She loved it.
Dr. Quentin listening to Audreys heart. We listen to our hearts and lungs a lot in this house.
She is a super happy girl.
She also makes the funniest faces. This is the look of shock and disgust. "I cant believe you like that"
The best Christmas party! Erics work rented out all of Lucky Strike in Bellevue and gave everyone tickets to play for 3 hours for free. We had SOOOOO much fun!!
We were football players and basketball players.
They also had these race cars that you took turns driving, but while you were driving your seat vibrated and moved to match the car. It was pretty fun.
We had the entire Bowling room to ourselves. The screen is showing a winter blizzard. Eric wont at bowling, but I at least went above 100, so I'm happy.

I went to a girls night sock exchange where you put in gifts in the socks and exchanged them without knowing what was in it. We also had amazing Fondue and great company. I love my friends!

We had the BYU Bowl Game and so natually we had to put on our tatoos.

Audrey had a clothing change because she spits up A TON. Both outfits were pretty cute.

My dad, brother and Eric flew down to Vegas for the game, and then flew home that night. I am so excited that they went!
